A Building Management System (BMS) is an electronic system meant to manage all the technical installations in a building, like HVAC, lights, energy production and distribution, sunblind, tap and waste water and elevators, with the purpose of supervise, monitor, control, report and archive

The human machine interface can be done in one or several PC’s (local or remote), in local touch panels or even using a smartphone. This is done through a graphical user-friendly interface

According to EU legislation, BMS are mandatory for medium and big sized building, among other measures to reduce global energy consumption

BMS systems are a core component for energy efficiency, one of the 5 targets for EU2020
